I was just over at Termites of Sin,
and got so cross
i had to do something
for the silent minority.
I hear the crying of the hungry
In the deserts where they're wandering
Hear them crying out for Heaven's own
Benevolence upon them
Hear destructive power prevailing
I hear fools falsely hailing
To the crooked wits of tyrants when they call
I hear them all
I hear them all
I hear them all
I hear the sounds of tearing pages
And the roar of burning paper
All the crimes in acquisition
Turn to air and ash and vapor
And the rattle of the shackle
Far beyond emancipators
And the loneliest who gather in their stalls
I hear them all
I hear them all
I hear them all
So, while you sit and whistle Dixie
With your money and your power
I can hear the flowers a-growing
In the rubble of the towers
I hear leaders quit their lyin'
I hear babies quit their cryin'
I hear soldiers quit their dyin', one and all
I hear them all
I hear them all
I hear them all
I hear the tender words from Zion
I hear Noah's waterfall
Hear the gentle lamb of Judah
Sleeping at the feet of Buddha
And the prophets from Elijah
To the old Paiute Wovoka
Take their places at the table when they're called
I hear them all
I hear them all
I hear them all
I hear them all
I hear them all

About Me
- Punch
- email punchnojudy@gmail.com, love being alive, the alterntiative has lousy hours, liberal and don't care if you give me cracked corn.
I poked holes in my eardrums and took out my eyes and I still hear & see them all...unfortunately my insurance recognized my lack of eardrums and eyesight as a pre-existing condition. But they thanked me for my premium payment. I love my insurance carrier, they are so thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteWalkingM...Unfortunately I caught myself laughing at you comment. I do that when I am nervous around the truth. Insurance whores are the best.
ReplyDeleteDitto. Ditto.
ReplyDeleteLove Old Crow (not the whiskey, the Medicine Show) I've seen them a couple of times. Good stuff.
Punch had it right in his rant at my place... a bureaucrat is going to decide if you get treatment or not, it's simply a matter of which bureaucrat you want to make that decision... one's who's motive is to put in their hours and follow the rules laid down by the government, or one who's motive is to put in their hours and follow the rules laid down by a company whose goal is to profit from you.
As long as there is profit in sickness, you will remain sick. Period.
I love this video and I'm glad we are putting a voice to the health care issue. Profit needs to go and pre-existing conditions need to go. Visit my friend's blog http://www.emailsfrommark.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteHe post a lot of interesting articles.
And the beat goes on Punch, from one to the other to the other. They were our fathers, and now they're our sons, and they continue the sorry beat.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me guys, we are not alone. I have read just this week, probably a dozen blogs about this issue, and the sorry bastards that are trying to water it down...if not out right defeat it.
