    Heh - the opening of Matthews' version seems to fit the times...sounds tired of dealin' with the thieves.

    both versions have merits.... as much as i like hendrix, matthews has an edge i find quite compelling.
    the violins are, as you say, moving in that way that remains unforgettable.

    Intelli…thanks for your kind heart. Worse, maybe, but not by me and I’ll do all I can to keep it that way. JJ on the other hand is a rat fink, commie lovin’ bottom feedin’ cockrobbin’ backstabbin’ corkscrewin’ republican. (ahem, I meant to say rat bastard)
