JadedJ...the lump in the center of the photo, is the Chart House restaurant, Jacksonville, Florida. An Architectural Tour d' force in downtown Jax. Ok food too. Bring yo’ wallet, son. The third high-rise left of center is the old Gulf Life Insurance Building. A Jax owned Insurance company, that is defunct. That building is a landmark also. But you knew that.
the Walkin’ man…Yes, even I am amazed by how much Jax has changed. For the better in my mind. Mr. Charleston might not completely agree. BTW Elvis caught the eye of the local Judge while in town. Marion G. Gooding attended the Elvis Concert at the Florida Theatre to make sure…blah blah blah.
