Juxtaposition 8-13-2011 Lucky 'ol Crazy Sun.

Up in the mornin',
Out on the job,
I work like the devil for my pay.
I know that lucky old sun, has nothin' to do,
But roll around heaven all day.

I fuss with my woman, and toil with my kids,
Sweat 'til I'm wrinkled and gray.
I know that lucky old sun, has nothin' to do,
But roll around heaven all day.

Dear Lord above, don't you see I'm cry'in?
I got tears all in my eyes.
Why don't you send down that cloud with the silver lining,
Lift me up to Paradise.

Stoker

Blues Man, New Orleans .
At the French Quarter Music Festival.
Every thing his owns in on the bike.
He plays and sings like every blues man you've ever heard.
All Of Them, the ones who have passed over, all trying to have one last say.
He is Something Else.

It sounds much better than it looks. I first saw it last year with a broken head and I thought, "that guitar is broken". I was right. As I listened and looked closer, it stayed broken.
So this year I find him still playing that instrument, but in a greater state of abuse. Turns out, it has been through a fire this past year. The plastic bag it was in, to keep the rain off, melted during the fire and Stoker decided to let it stay. Another layer of lacquer. The head has been glued and taped back together and plays well.

I don't know how it got the ash to stay put, but it did.
I think that is electrician's tape.

I wonder if the dust is a big contributor to the sound.
