Here's an excerpt from the article, but read the entire article when you have time:
http://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/ancient/crystal-skulls.html?source=sem_G5000&s_kwcid=crystal%20skulls%20in%20mexico|2682131657&kwid=crystal%20skulls%20in%20mexico|2682131657&gclid=CNfJ0eH9wp4CFSFRagodGW34pA

"In addition, recent electron microscope analyses of skulls by the British Museum and the Smithsonian Institution revealed markings that could only have been made with modern carving implements. Both museums estimate that their skulls date to sometime in the mid- to late 1800s, a time when public interest in ancient cultures was high and museums were eager for pieces to display.

Its examinations and the fact that no such skull has ever been uncovered at an official archaeological excavation led the British Museum to extrapolate that all of the famed crystal skulls are likely fakes.

There is passion on both sides of the issue, and the fact remains that no one knows for sure who made these skulls and when. And since there is currently no way to accurately determine the age of such inorganic objects, the mystery will likely continue."

Glad you are experiencing an energy from it, however.jadedjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16569736113526368917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2820984557175325716.post-59747726439670594832009-12-06T17:48:32.948-05:002009-12-06T17:48:32.948-05:00Walking Man...you are right right on. Nice to hear your approval.
Lou...Yes, Max is one of the rare artifacts of time. The big boys and girls all say 'yep, that's a crystal skull. don't know how it was made." there are no tool markings that would yeild a time period. So all the pros say is 'we can't say it not that old. hope this makes sense. I'll try to write better in the morning. There is an energy that is real around this rock.
